The Mizuno Half Marathon is the largest Half Marathon in the Netherlands and is held simultaneously with TCS Amsterdam Marathon and TCS 8K run. You will start just outside the Olympic stadium, the course is incredibly fast and attractive while it leads you through various highlights in the centre of Amsterdam such as the Rijksmuseum and along the windmills on the Amstel. The finish will be inside the legendary Olympic stadium of Amsterdam and with many support from the stands you will end your run with a satisfied feeling! With a large amount of nationalities (over 120 nationalities joining) the event is beloved all over the world. Alongside all the other 45.000 runners you will have a weekend to never forget!

Course

The Mizuno half marathon consists of one loop, most of which passes through the attractive centre of Amsterdam. The course starts at the Stadionweg and goes through Churchilllaan, Rijnstraat and the Utrechtse Bridge over the Amstel river. You then run through Watergraafsmeer and Zeeburg. The rest of the course is same as that of the full marathon.

Pasta party

We will be organizing a Pasta Party on Saturday 14 October in the VIP area in the Olympic Stadium. We guarantee an excellent meal for €25 (including 1 drink). There are three groups: from 16.30 – 17.45, from 18.00 – 19.15 and from 19.30 – 21.00.

You start your day with an independent journey. Then it's 'Welcome to the Netherlands!' Today you can check in at the hotel of your choice. Afterwards you will have enough time to explore Amsterdam. You can take a walk through the city center or enjoy a boat trip on the canals of Amsterdam in the evening!

Saturday, 14 October 2023

Today you can pick up your bib number at the Marathon Expo. The rest of the day you have time to explore the city and prepare accordingly. In addition, we offer you various excursion options! The Rijksmuseum, Body Worlds or a bike tour through the city are just some of the possibilities.

It's finally here, today is your big day! The Amsterdam Mizuno Half Marathon. Finish at the Olympic Stadium with great atmosphere. Are you ready to set a super fast time? Don't forget to enjoy the amazing course and soak up the atmosphere in the stadium at your finish.

The new Ibis Budget Amsterdam City South is located in Amstelveen, in the south of the city and benefits from a direct connection to the Olympic Stadium and the centre of Amsterdam. Kronenburg railway station is just 100 metres from the hotel, making it easy to reach on foot. Near the Olympic Stadium are both the expo and the start and finish location of the Amsterdam Marathon, Half Marathon and the 8km. This can be reached within 25 minutes from the hotel.
