The race

The Barcelona Marathon is one of the most popular marathons in Europe due to its beautiful course through the city. The start and finish location are located on the beautiful Plaça d'Espanya square. Along the way there are numerous sights that the runners pass, such as the Sagrada Familia and the Camp Nou. Because of the time of year and the early start time there are often excellent conditions during the run! After a hilly run the route is further flat. The start of your running trip! Today you go on your own to Barcelona. Once you arrive you go to your hotel on your own. After that you will have the whole day to enjoy everything Barcelona has to offer. A walk to the beach, for example, is a nice option. In the evening you can choose to enjoy the typical Catalan cuisine in one of the many restaurants.

At the beginning of the Barcelona Marathon the course is quite hilly, but otherwise the Barcelona Marathon is rather flat. Good luck but of course a lot of fun during the race.
