The Brussels Marathon is a great running event. From the start in the Cinquantenaire Park, the course of the marathon runs right through the attractive centre of the Belgian capital. There are many green areas along the course and only a few meters of altitude difference are present. After a warm welcome on the Grand Place of Brussels, the runners are on their way to a remarkable finish. On the same day the half marathon will take place as an alternative.
