The race

The route takes you through the pub-filled New Town (one of Europe's largest Gründerzeit-style districts), over the Waldschlößchen Bridge to the Grand Garden, and back to the historic city centre full of famous sights.

Wilkommen in Dresden! You arrived in Dresden today on your own transport and are at the start of a special running trip! After checking in at the hotel, you will have plenty of time to explore the city or catch up on the journey to the east of Germany.

Saturday, 16 October 2021

After the daily breakfast buffet, today you will have plenty of time to explore Dresden's special history. A city where you will be reminded of the consequences of the Second World War and the division between East and West Germany. In addition, you should pick up the bib number today at the marathon expo in the International Congress Center. Here you can also join the pasta party as an option!

The big day! After breakfast you go to the start of the 10km, half marathon or full marathon. In an international field of participants you can enjoy the intimate atmosphere that surrounds this event after the starting shot. After reaching the finish you will receive a beautiful medal as a memento of this performance.

Monday, 18 October 2021

The end of the running trip. After breakfast you can check out at the hotel. Afterwards you have the choice to start the journey home immediately, or to take a moment to visit Dresden for the last time. We hope that in addition to a medal, you will also have a nice experience.
