The race

In 2020 the Ibiza Marathon will be on the running calendar for the 4th time. The previous events have been a great success with thousands of runners, most of whom came from abroad. The course is designed to include some of the most beautiful places on the island, running through beautiful areas with pine forests and the sea in the background. Along the centuries-old walls in the old part of Ibiza Town, the lively city centre, where hundreds of people will support the runners until the sea is in sight again. The last part of the marathon is accelerated. With the Mediterranean Sea in the background, you will be running across the finish line! You can also participate in the 12 km, 20 km or in the relay on the same day.

buenos días! Today is for leisure. You could go for a run to prepare for tomorrow, and after that relax on one of the beautiful beaches that Ibiza has to offer. Or another possibility is to explore the island, stroll on the boulevards of Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town or go in search of the authenticity of the interior.

The day of the marathon, 20k and 12k! You can take it easy today, in contrast to regular races. The race doesn't start until 17.00! You can make use of the breakfast arrangement in the morning. Afterwards you will have all the time you need to prepare yourself for the big race. Participants of the marathon and 20k will be brought by bus to the start of the race. After the race, you will receive a medal which you can have engraved.

Unfortunately, this is your last day in Ibiza. Still, you will hopefully be able to look back on your trip with a good feeling! In the morning you can still make use of the breakfast arrangement and then travel home on your own

The luxurious Aparthotel Tropic Garden is located next to the beach and promenade of Santa Eulalia, near the famous Punta des Faralló and close to the historic centre of this charming Ibiza town. The rooms of the hotel are spacious and modern, decorated in a Mediterranean style. The rooms, many of which have balconies, offer beautiful views of the hotel's surroundings. The public areas consist mostly of beautiful gardens, outdoor swimming pools and terraces, where you can relax. You can also do that in the hotel's sauna, which also includes a Jacuzzi and heated indoor pool.
The town of Ibiza is 15 km from the aparthotel and from Santa Eulalia, close to the hotel, several buses from the organisation go to the start location of the marathon, 20km and the relay. The finish of the marathon, 20km, relay and 12km are within walking distance of the hotel, making it easy for you to retire after crossing the finish line. In the morning you can enjoy the excellent breakfast buffet, and in the evenings you can have a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, or in the surrounding area.
