The race

When the sun sets in Nevada, the participants of the Las Vegas Marathon begin the course. This is the moment when the city really comes alive, with bright neon lights and a lively atmosphere. Even when the marathon route leaves the track, the runners are accompanied by lights and music. The runners are on a very flat course on their way to an epic finish halfway down the Las Vegas Strip. The Humana Rock 'N' Roll Las Vegas Marathon is also part of the popular Rock 'N' Roll series. A 10 km and a half marathon will also be run on the same day if you wish to run a shorter distance!

Today is at leisure, or you can pick up your bib number. This is also possible to do the next day. As there is nothing else on the program, you can arrange this day in your own way. Some of the sights that are definitely worth a visit in Las Vegas are: The Strip, Bellagio fountains and The Mirage (also both casinos), Death Valley National Park, The Stratosphere or the famous Chapel's where you can get married in no time.

Will you continue where you left off or prepare yourself for the race, which is scheduled for tomorrow? Everyone has their own way of preparing, which is why we leave this completely up to you. It is wise, however, to start the race well rested.

You are finally going to run the course for which you have trained for so long. The course leads you through Las Vegas over The Strip, where you lack eyes to see all the sights and neon lights.
