Welcome to Australia! After arrival in Sydney you will go on your own to the Mariners Court Hotel. Here you will stay the next few days and prepare yourself for this wonderful marathon Down Under! If you have already recovered from the trip, this is an ideal day to get to know the metropolis Sydney a little better. Of course the city is known for its world famous Sydney Opera House in the Sydney Harbour. You can take a boat trip here or see this famous destination in another way. The famous Bondi Beach is also a must-see. Sydney has many hightligts!

The day before the race. Today you have to pick up your bib number at the marathon expo. Of course, there is also enough time today to do some activities and to enjoy the city. A picnic in Hyde Park or at Cermorne Point is a good option! Of course, you can also choose to explore Sydney's shopping streets and malls, looking for souvenirs for the people back home!

The big day! The Sydney Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km are on the program. The start of the marathon is at 07:00. The other races have a different start time. Good luck! A large group of runners is eager to run this beautiful race and you are part of it! Along the way you will see many breathtaking highlights such as the Harbour Bridge. Enjoy these special races and we hope you will be proud to wear your medal at the end and enjoy the atmosphere.

Explore the surroundings! Today again, you have a lot of freedom to plan your day as you wish. You can visit Sydney again, but you can also make a beautiful trip to one of the many national parks in the vicinity of Sydney. Harbour National Park, known for the North Head viewpoint, offers breathtaking sea views. Within 30 minutes you can take the ferry from Sydney Opera House to Manly Beach. North Head is a short walk away.
