  • Trip schedule

The start of your running journey. You fly with KLM from Amsterdam to Bristol (08:35-08:50) and make your own way to Marriott Cardiff, your accommodation during this special running journey. You must first travel by bus to Bristol Temple Meads (approx. 25 minutes) and then take the train to Cardiff Central (approx. 50 minutes). The hotel is located next to the station.

Good morning Cardiff! After breakfast, you still have plenty of free time today, and Cardiff has a lot to offer! The city has a wide range of remains dating back to the Middle Ages. For example, take a visit to Cardiff Castle! The Victorian shopping arcades offer excellent shopping opportunities and cultural Cardiff is a gathering place for musicians in the evening. If you haven't done this yesterday, today is the last chance to pick up the starting ticket at the expo.

The big day! Today is the day of the Cardiff Half Marathon. With a large group of enthusiastic participants from all over the world, you will start in one of the largest half marathons in Europe. On the fast and flat course, you may well be on your way to a new personal record. Enjoy the atmosphere and the course! Afterwards, you will receive a medal to commemorate the race.

The last day of your running trip! You will travel back to Bristol airport on your own (again by train/bus) for the KLM return flight from Bristol to Amsterdam (17:30-19:45). We wish you a safe journey home and hopefully you will have gained another medal and experience.
