Basic rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package holiday within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Consequently, you are entitled to all EU rights which apply to package holidays. Globalrunning.com is fully responsible for the proper execution of the entire package holiday. Globalrunning.com also has the legal obligation to reimburse you and, if the transport is included in the package trip, to repatriate you, in case it becomes insolvent. Basic rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302

  • Before concluding the package travel contract, the traveller shall receive all essential information on the package.
  • If the insolvency of the organiser or, if applicable, the retailer occurs after the start of the package holiday and transport is included in the package holiday, repatriation of the traveller will be arranged. Loopreizen.nl (Rho-Delta Travel B.V., SGR membership number 17022) has secured its insolvency protection from SGR (Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden). If services are not rendered due to the insolvency of Globalrunning.com, travellers may contact this entity or, as the case may be, the competent authority: SGR, PO Box 4040, 3006 AA Rotterdam, K.v.K 41127968, (+31) 010 4146377, sgr@sgr.nl
  • In the event that travel services have not been carried out or have not been carried out properly, the traveller shall also be entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation. The organiser is obliged to provide assistance to travellers who are in difficulty.
  • If the services are not provided in accordance with the contract and this significantly affects the performance of the package holiday and the organiser has not rectified the problem, the traveller may terminate the package holiday contract without payment of a termination fee.
  • If, after the package tour has commenced, significant elements of the package tour cannot be provided as agreed, a suitable alternative arrangement must be offered to the traveller at no extra cost.
  • In addition, the traveller may terminate the contract at any time prior to the start of the package holiday by paying an appropriate and justified termination fee.
  • The traveller may terminate the contract before the start of the package holiday in exceptional circumstances without payment of a termination fee, for example if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package holiday.
  • In the event of a significant change in one of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, the traveller may terminate the contract without payment of a cancellation fee and will be reimbursed in full. If the trader responsible for the package cancels the package prior to the package commencing, the traveller shall be entitled to reimbursement and, if appropriate, compensation.
  • The traveller may transfer the package holiday to another person, subject to a reasonable delay and possibly at an additional cost.
  • The traveller shall be given an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point through which he can contact the organiser or the travel agent.
  • The responsibility for the proper execution of all travel services included in the contract shall always rest with at least one travel agent.
