The race

One of the biggest half marathons in Germany is the one in Cologne. It is a real folk festival with a course that runs mostly through the city centre and along the banks of the Rhine. The Cologne Half Marathon has a flat course, which gives you as a runner an excellent chance to run a personal record here. For marathon runners, the Cologne Marathon is an ideal alternative.

The Expo will be organised in the Messe building. It is open on Friday from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm and on Saturday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.

The weather in Cologne is mild in October and around 13-14 degrees. Ideal conditions for a pleasant walk.

Course

Through the urban and flat course of Cologne. The route lends itself perfectly to fast times. There is only a difference in altitude of 15 metres.

Willkommen in Köln. The start of your running journey! Today you will leave on your own transport to Cologne. On arrival, check in at Adina Apartment Hotel Cologne. You should also pick up your starting ticket at the marathon expo today. Afterwards, you will have plenty of time to see the city of Cologne

The big day! Today you will start in one of Germany's most beautiful and popular marathons. Along the banks of the Rhine, with the support of the enthusiastic crowd, you may be on your way to a super time. After the finish, you will receive a nice medal as a memento of this experience.

Last day of your run trip! Today, after checking out, you can choose to tour the city of Cologne before returning home. Strolling out along the Rhine or a final visit to Cologne Cathedral are some options. We hope you return home with a nice medal and an experience richer.
