The race

The Haspa Hamburg Half Marathon is one of the most popular events in Germany. The highly acclaimed run has a separate start and finish at the churchyards, but is nevertheless largely identical to the original marathon. Although this race runs through the Hanseatic city in April, the Hamburg Half Marathon is known to often have summery weather conditions. If you want to participate in this run, you have to register in time, because the last events of this half marathon were often sold out after a few weeks.

Hello Hamburg! Today you arrived in Hamburg with your own transport. You can check in at your chosen hotel, the accommodation for the next few days. Afterwards you will of course still have enough time to discover the city of Hamburg. One of the absolute highlights of the city is the Warehouse District. Here you can take a nice tour by boat. In the trendy district 'Schanzenviertel' you can enjoy the culinary side of Hamburg.

After you have enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet, the whole day is at your leisure. However, you will also need to pick up your bib number today, in case you did not do it yesterday. A visit to the city beach of Sankt Pauli, situated on the river Elbe, is a nice way to relax and work towards tomorrow's big day!

Today is the big day! The time has finally come! The Hamburg Half Marathon and Marathon will start early, so make sure you are on time. On this flat and fast track you can have a nice personal time. In the evening you can enjoy your performance in the vibrant city of Hamburg, where the evenings are lively.

The last day of your running trip. After breakfast buffet you can check out of the hotel at your leisure. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit Hamburg for the last time before you start your journey home.
