The race

The Paris half-marathon is an essential run on the running calendar. Often used as a season opening or to find the right pace, there are many reasons to participate in this event. The Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris has a fast track, where runners can push themselves to the limit. With over 40,000 participants, this is also one of the largest half-marathons in the world. The course takes you right through the middle of the city, past many places of interest. The Paris Half Marathon is definitely an excellent run to start the season! Besides the half marathon, the marathon is also an option though on another date.

Once you arrive in beautiful Paris, you can report to the centrally located hotel Ibis Opera Bastille 11eme. This hotel offers comfort and luxury so you can perform at your best during the half marathon. Its central location also gives the ideal opportunity to visit the world-famous sights in advance. On this day, it is already possible to collect your bib number.

In the morning, enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. Today is also the day you can collect your bib number. Fortunately, this is possible all day, so there is plenty of time to explore the city. Paris has something to offer for everyone.

The big day has arrived! From the Quai d'Austerlitz, the starting gun will be fired at 08.30. The route will take you past beautiful sights and symbolic monuments. Even more motivation to keep running! The time limit for this half marathon is 02:50:00. Which certainly need not be an obstacle for an experienced runner.

The last day of the trip. You can enjoy the sumptuous breakfast buffet again this day before checking out of the hotel. After this, you will have the choice to continue exploring the city on your own, visit various sights or return home.

The ibis Paris Bastille Opera is in the city centre, 550 metres from Place de la Bastille. It has a 24-hour front desk, a French restaurant, a bar and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV and air conditioning.
The heated rooms at the ibis Paris Bastille Opera feature parquet floors and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Wi-Fi is free.
A buffet breakfast is served every day with sweet and savoury items including eggs, fruit salad, yoghurt and fruit juices. Sweet pastries are baked at the property and the hotel also offers fresh French madeleines, hot drinks and a piece of fruit to take away. Outside regular breakfast times, lighter options are available from 04:00. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance.
