The race

In 2025, the Ibiza Marathon will be on the running calendar for the 7th time. The previous editions were a great success with thousands of runners, the majority of whom came from abroad. The route is planned in such a way that you pass the most beautiful places on the island and pass through beautiful areas with pine forests and the sea in the background. Along the ancient walls in the old part of Ibiza Town, the bustling city center where hundreds of people will cheer on the runners until the sea is in sight again. The last part of the marathon will gain momentum. With the Mediterranean Sea in the background, you will cross the finish line! You can also participate in the 12km or 22km on the same day

You will fly with Transavia from Amsterdam to Ibiza at 11:50 am, where you will arrive at 2:25 pm. You will go to your hotel on your own.

After breakfast you can relax on one of the beautiful beaches that Ibiza has to offer. There is also plenty of time to explore the island, walk on the boulevards of Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town or look for the authenticity of the interior.

Saturday, 12 April 2025

The day of the marathon, 22k and 12k! You can take it easy today, unlike regular races. The race doesn't start until 4:00 PM! You can use the breakfast package in the morning. Then you have plenty of time to prepare yourself for the big race. Participants in the marathon and 20k will be taken to the start of the race by bus. After completing the race, you will receive a medal that you can have engraved.

Monday, 14 April 2025

Unfortunately, the last day in Ibiza. Still, hopefully you can look back on your trip with a good feeling! You can still use the breakfast package in the morning and have the entire day at your leisure. The return flight to Amsterdam departs at 9:00 PM and arrives in the Netherlands at 11:40 PM.

The luxurious Aparthotel Tropic Garden is located next to the beach and promenade of Santa Eulalia, near the famous Punta des Faralló and close to the historic centre of this charming Ibiza town. The rooms of the hotel are spacious and modern, decorated in a Mediterranean style. The rooms, many of which have balconies, offer beautiful views of the hotel's surroundings. The public areas consist mostly of beautiful gardens, outdoor swimming pools and terraces, where you can relax. You can also do that in the hotel's sauna, which also includes a Jacuzzi and heated indoor pool.
The town of Ibiza is 15 km from the aparthotel and from Santa Eulalia, close to the hotel, several buses from the organisation go to the start location of the marathon, 20km and the relay. The finish of the marathon, 20km, relay and 12km are within walking distance of the hotel, making it easy for you to retire after crossing the finish line. In the morning you can enjoy the excellent breakfast buffet, and in the evenings you can have a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, or in the surrounding area.
