A unique marathon that is run across two continents. There is no marathon in the world that compares to the Istanbul Marathon! By transfer you will go to the start on the Asian side of the city, from where the participants of the Vodafone Istanbul Marathon will run across the Bosphorus Bridge to Europe. During the route, runners will pass many historical sights such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The finish is at Sultanahmet in the European part of the city. Is the marathon distance a bit too long? Then the 15km from Istanbul is also an option!

You fly with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul). After arrival you make your own way to hotel Dersaadet (****). You can also optionally book a private transfer with your trip. Ask us about the possibilities. You can enjoy the lively evenings in Istanbul in the evening. A visit to Taksim Square is one of the options.

Today you can complete it according to your own wishes. After breakfast you can choose to visit the Galata Tower, for example. From here you have a beautiful view of this gigantic city. A visit to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, which are close to each other, is also recommended. Don't forget that the starting ticket for the 15km or Marathon must also be collected on this day.

Today is the big day! The Marathon and 15km are on the program. You start in the Asian part of the city and finish in the European part. The organization provides free buses to the starting location of the marathon and the 15 km. These depart from Taksim Square and Sultanahmet Square. During the marathon you can enjoy the beautiful course and the atmosphere! After the finish you will receive a medal as a reminder of this special experience.

At breakfast you can enjoy yesterday's great performance. For example, you can spend your last day with a beautiful boat trip on the Bosphorus to Kadiköy, one of the oldest districts in Istanbul. This cozy neighborhood is located in the Asian section, and you can take a nice walk here to explore the neighborhood. You return to the airport on your own (or for a paid transfer). You will return home with a wonderful experience and a medal richer.
We do not offer transport for this arrangement by default. However, we do offer the option to book flights with us. Prices will vary if you choose to make use of our service.
Dersaadet Hotel Istanbul is gevestigd in een 19e-eeuws Ottomaans huis in het hart van Istanbul, op loopafstand van de historische bezienswaardigheden zoals het Topkapi Paleis, de Blauwe Moskee en de Hagia Sophia Museum. De rest van Istanbul is met de tram makkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het nabijgelegen tramstation.
