You fly early in the morning from Amsterdam to Rome (06:55-09:10) and check in at hotel Gioberti (****). The rest of the time is free to spend as you wish. Since there is enough free time, you can explore the city yourself. Due to the rich history of Rome, you will encounter enough monuments, museums, churches, squares and fountains. Some notable sights are: the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Roman Forum.

You probably have not seen all the sights yet. That is why you still have the chance to visit the Spanish Steps on this day. Enjoy this day and rest well, because the marathon is on the schedule on Sunday.

It's finally here! The day of days. Yes, the marathon is on the program! The starting shot will be fired in the morning, near the Colosseum. The finish is also at the place where the start of the marathon took place. The rest of the day can be filled in as you wish.

This is the last day of the trip to Rome. Your flight will be back to Amsterdam in the evening (20:00-22:25)
