The Venice Marathon is known for its fast course that runs through the beautiful city. The start is at the Vila Pisani Museum and the first part of the race is run along the Riviera del Brenta. This part of the course is rich in culture and historical buildings. After this you will run through the centre of Marghera and Mestre before reaching the Ponte della Libertà. This bridge is 4 km long and brings you to the historic centre of Venice on the island of San Marco, the most spectacular part of the course along with the bridge over the Grand Canal, which was specially built for this event. After this you will quickly reach the finish line on the Riva Sette Martiri. A certified Bronze Label IAAF Race, which has the reputation of fascinating both runners and supporters!

Buongiorno Venezia! After breakfast, you will have plenty of free time today, and Venice has a lot to offer! The city is spread over several islands and each island has its own charm. A nice idea is to visit Burano, where the typical Venetian architecture is reflected in the colourful houses. The city also has several palaces, bridges and churches rich in history. If you didn't do so yesterday, today is the last chance to pick up the starting number at the expo.

The big day! Today is the day! The Venice 10 km and marathon are on the programme! Enjoy one of the most beautiful courses in the world. Afterwards, you will receive a beautiful medal as a memento of this special event. While enjoying a traditional Italian dinner somewhere in the squares of Venice, you can reminisce about your performance today!

The last day of your running trip! After breakfast, you will head to the airport on your own for your return flight. We wish you well at home and hopefully you will be another medal and experience richer.
We do not offer transport for this arrangement by default. However, we do offer the option to book flights with us. Prices will vary if you choose to make use of our service.
The ideal location of this hotel makes it the perfect place to discover Venice. From the Mestre train station, you can reach the hotel from the airport in 10 minutes. The Grand Canal on San Marco Island, the lifeline of the beautiful city of Venice, is also within 10 minutes of Plaza Venice Mestre. The expo is just around the corner. Apart from the sights, the start and finish of the Venice Marathon and 10km are within easy reach of the hotel. The start is only 15 minutes away, and after the finish you will be back at the hotel in 45 minutes.
The spacious and elegantly furnished rooms of the 4-star hotel will make you feel very welcome thanks to the warm colours. A fully equipped bathroom with a modern shower is at your disposal. The comfortable beds allow you to work fully rested towards the start of the run on Sunday.
