We are delighted to announce the start of a new Super Half in 2024, welcoming the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON to the Super Half series. This change will see the Super Half series expand to six prestigious races, giving runners a longer window of opportunity to achieve Super Medal glory at one of the world’s most iconic and beloved half marathons.
Previously, the series consisted of five races in Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia, with participants having 36 months to complete the circuit. From 2024, the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON will become an integral part of the Super Halfs, with runners able to complete the series of six races, instead of the original five, over a period of 60 months (5 years), from the date of their first race.
All runners will be registered for the new six-race Super Half, but those who have already started their adventure in 2022 or 2023 will have the option to earn a Super Medal after completing the existing five races within 36 months.
During the Generali Berlin Half Marathon, runners will pass the city’s most famous highlights, such as Charlottenburg Palace and Potsdamer Platz. Starting from Straße des 17. Juni, the runners will be on their way to the finish at the Brandenburg Gate. The course of the Berlin Half Marathon is flat and the weather conditions are often very pleasant, so you could easily run a personal record!
