The race

The Valencia Marathon has become increasingly popular in recent years and is therefore often sold out early. And this is logical; the overall good weather conditions, the flat course and of course the beautiful start and finish location in the City of Arts and Sciences! The track runs through the historic centre of Valencia. The runners will pass some of the highlights of the city, such as the Plaza Anyuntamiento, the Plaza de Toros and the Turia Park. As the marathon takes place at the end of the calendar year, the temperature during this period is between 12 and 17 degrees. In combination with the flat course, this is an ideal opportunity to set a personal record!

You will fly to Valencia and once you arrive in Valencia, you will make your own way to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to explore Valencia or pick up your bib number.

Saturday, 06 December 2025

In the morning, there will be a 35-minute running clinic. Afterwards, you can pick up your race number at your convenience. In the early evening, there will be a presentation and pasta party.

Sunday, 07 December 2025

Marathon day! The starting gun will fire at 8:15 a.m. The race will take you through the streets and along roads where you can experience the authenticity of Valencia. After finishing, you will receive a medal that you can have engraved. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. At the end of the afternoon, there will be an after-marathon drinks reception.

Start, finish and expo are a few meters walk from the hotel. The El Saler indoor shopping centre is about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. In the street of the hotel you will find several nice restaurants. You can get to the city centre in about 10 minutes by bus (bus stop right outside the door).
